SP2000 - Safety Architecture implementation
On basis of the scalable safety architecture, a powerful generic ECU will be developed within this SP which will be used later on by all vertical projects. With reference to the SPARC systems, HAVEit's demanding highly automated vehicle applications require significantly more computational power, memory and interfaces.

In addition, communication channels (C2C and C2I) will be integrated to suit the needs of HAVEit. The powerful generic automotive ECUs will be developed by partner Continental AG and University of Stuttgart.

Out of the platform-requirements (from WPs 1100 and 1200), the functional platform description can be generated and broken down into the HW/SW co-design. As in HW and SW just functionalities can be realized. It is the task to transfer all functional and safety requirements to pure elementary functions and to allocate those to HW and SW. The technological and architectural approach of the project SPARC shall be reused here.
